AS OF 12PM THEY ARE FULL FOR VOLUNTEERS. REDIRECT TO 168 NEW DORP LANE FOR NEW ASSIGNMENT!
The NYC marathon runners are going to be doing a neighborhood clean-up at Oakwood Beach. This is one place we can actually keep pace with them! Let's join forces!
9AM @ Guyon Avenue and Mill Road, Oakwood Beach, Staten Island.
At the clean up site, look for Matt (in a blue Cubs hat)
-Water and food for yourself -Warm clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty -Work gloves -Closed‐toe, sturdy shoes/boots. -Any donations —Any donations that you can carry: batteries (especially C and D), shovels, cleaning supplies, trash bags
8AM at the Whitehall Terminal and take the 8:30AM ferry.
From the ferry, take the railway to Oakwood Heights. Turn left out of the station onto Guyon Avenue. Walk to the end of Guyon Avenue (corner of Mill Road).
We will have a team at our 168 New Dorp Lane location, and will direct/drive volunteers to the clean up location.
